How to Write 100 Blog Posts and Not Give Up

So guess what guys, it's my 100th post. Yeah it's nothing special, but one thing that I learned throughout my time blogging is that first steps are really the hardest ones. So here are some basic tips for new bloggers on how to keep writing and never give up.

1. Choose a Suitable Topic

This is perhaps the most basic, yet one of the most important tips. If you choose a wrong topic you will simply get bored soon. Also a great idea would be choosing a very specific and a narrow subject as this will cut off the high competition and will earn you some sweet traffic. For example, instead of writing about fishing focus on let us say ice fishing.

2. Forget the Money

It's not a secret that you can earn some nice cash from blogs, but you should forget this, especially in the beginning. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with putting some AdSense ads or Amazon banners on your website. However, if you're so focused on monetization that you keep on writing only about what you think are popular topics and overuse advertisements, it will work against you. So focus on quality content and you will be fine.

3. Write Daily

It's very important to develop a writing habit in the beginning of your blogging career. Set aside some time every day to your blogging. One of the biggest enemies of most of the bloggers is laziness. But I can assure you that if you keep on writing daily it will eventually become a habit, which will get you some sweet traffic.

One thing that really helped me in writing daily is this great TED video called "Try Something New for 30 Days". The title says it all, the idea is that if you want to develop a great habit you just have to try something new for 30 days. So check out this great video and keep on writing.

4. Focus on Quality

Naturally if you are trying to write a great number of blog posts to improve your traffic, you will not be able to make every post into a masterpiece. The trick is to write a great post with an amazing quality once in a while. For example, write a really good article once a week. It should be a slightly longer article than usual, which requires some research and planning. Hey but don't worry, even though it will take some time, quality articles will surely get you the best traffic.

5. Keep on Experimenting

Keep on looking for the right kind of stuff you really want to write. I mean try writing "How to" articles, reviews, personal experience and all that other stuff. Eventually you'll find your niche and then you will be on the highway to success.

Thanks for reading, commenting, following and all that other great stuff. And for all of you new bloggers, I hope this articles helps to keep on writing and getting some traffic.
